accelerator pedal linkages

My linkages are stuffed on my 73 micro'. Has any one found good aftermarket ones or do i need to try and make my own??

Go down to the wreckers and get the linkage assembly from a 77 or later kombi. The pedal is stronger, the linkage pushes straight unlike the earlier ones and the linkage goes across in front of the steering column instead of behind like the earlier ones so you can tell the difference.

I`ve got the same problem with my `73 Crewcab.
I tightened it up a bit using some washers in between the flat parts of the linkage and the spring clips that hold them in place. Looks like the hole in the bracket that is welded to the floor has worn oval. I`m getting about 2/3 throttle because of all the wear.
I`m going to cut the bracket off and weld in a couple of washers or a small tube to make the holes round again. I doubt I`ll find a better one at the wreckers.
