Ive got a 1300sp can i put 1600 p+cs on as a bolt on without machine work and do the heads have to be opened up a bit to drop the compression,thanks

You might need to change studs though.
As for CR you would need to measure deck height and cc of the heads to get it right.
1600 p&c wont fit 1300 heads without machine work.
If you want to fit a 1600 p&c to a 1300 you would be better off using 1500 single port heads, as they also have bigger valves and bolt up with out
machine work.
Head studs are the same. 1300 manifold is smaller than the 1500, so you would need one of those to to make proper use of the bigger pistons and
valves.
