hey i have a 72 super bug and it has 12 fuses some white and some red..........i have no cover on them so not sure what fuse is for what but the ones 2nd from the right (near drivers door) keeps blowing,,, any one know what this fuse is for...i think my kill switch is connected to it as some times she wont release itself thanks colleen
Go here for more details but here is a typical fuse block
1 is passenger side.
Try and trace out a few wires to see if this is the right fuse box lay out

8 amp is white and 16 amp is red
DO NOT put over sized fuses in the wrong hole.
Below is a typical wiring diagram that you can get from vintage bus
Hmmm this might be better - this one agrees with the wiring diagram
11 should be brake lights
Anyway - get back to us if you need more help
I had the same problem. Caused by a short in the tail light housing. Open up the housing and check that all wires are in the right spots and not
frayed, broken, disconnected or earthing where they shouldn't be. I must have wasted half a dozen fuses before I figured it out (horn is on the same
fuse).
Hope this helps.
hey thanks/////// god look at the pic where do i start,,,,,,,,,might be my horn i got a sports steering wheel and changed my horn to a push button,,,,,,,,,,,just maby i didnt do it properly,,,,,,,,,,,,,every time i go to an autoelect they never want to do my car cause of the wiring set up,the guy that had the car before me did his own and it is all over the place,,,,,,,,,may be able to follow it from the pic ......................thanks colleen
The wires are colour coded
Just look what colour comes off the fuse that blows and see what it does.
Have a look to see if anything is spliced into that circuit
