Hey there,anybody out there tried a Mallory distributer i heard somebody but i cant find the post said they were crap can whoever posted come back and say why,please,i posted something similar on the STF and they all said nice things about Mallorys,maybe they just like Made in the USA stuff.I dunno do you anyway starting to ramble a bit here so i think ile hang up now bye.Mick.

GEt a Bosch 009 much betterer and easy to get parts for

I have had a Mallory unilite with Vacuum advance installed in my Kombi for a couple of months. Works nicely feels smoother pulling from low revs and uphiill but this is only subjective.
Very pricey though with shipping ,customs duty and GST added.

Ive got a 009 brand new with a Bosch hall effect trigger and a Kaehler Automtive Equipment ignition module and for the coil i have a Bosch electronic transfomer coil.It works great big fat spark OEM quality but its not exactly what i originally wanted which was my stock 205 vacuum advance dist. with as above unfortunately the hall effect guts wouldnt fit in my dist so 009.
