Fuel gauge sender (sensor)
Jenny - December 21st, 2004 at 06:54 AM

Can someone please tell me the resistance range for the fuel gauge sender unit for a VW Beetle. The sender is held in the top of the fuel tank with 5 bolts.
Thanks.

probably depends on whether its a float type or the barrel type....

I don't have the sender yet but need to know if either is compatible with my gauge, which is not VW.

If both the float type and barrel type senders attach via the top of the tank with 5 screws then I need both resistance values thanks.

Grahame,
I had a look at your club site but could not find any VW Beetle fuel gauge sender specifications.
