Superbug Foam

Anyone have any nifty methods for removing all the foam from the rear quarters of a superbug? I have to weld in some repair patches and I want to get rid of all this nasty stuff....:)

Just stick one up there and poke it all about, then use wire and anything else that will fit, most of it will come out in chucks. Then use a wire brush and go for it again.

yeah elbow grease is the only way... but it will be easier after you have cut the rust section away.

Acetone of thiners will probally soften it so you can scrap or wipe it off.

Good to see a S/Bug getting repaired not not roof chopped,

cool...

nahh its more work to chop it than repair the rust.

mind you there will be plenty of repair section metal to weld in there once I have cut the front out for the radiator :D
