Can anyone tell me the fuel tank capacity of a 65 bug? Can't find it anywhere for the life of me!:blush

The one on my '63 is 37Litres.

i believe it was around the 40 litre mark.... cant remember where i read it.... is on the net somewhere... but real early i think were 35 litres... then up to 40 in the 60's... then mid 70's went to 45 or 50..

i posted a similar question sometime ago regarding the fuel capacity of my 68 beetle and was told it was about 37 litres.

just measured my tank from a 65 beetle.... exactly 40 litres
