besides merc rims are there any other make of rim that will fit a bay without any mods Thanks Carl
yeah i would like to know as well, i think audi fit but r there any others out there???
As long as you have the right PCD they are a good start to getting them to fit. Yes Mercedes and Audi are the right PCD. I got some aftermarket rims
to suit Mercedes, there were hundreds of styles available at any mag supermarket. They had to drill the stud holes a bit bigger though as the studs on
a kombi are bigger. If they have any clue at all about mags this would be a standard procedure.
http://www.dragway.com.au Dragway can make almost any offset or stud pattern
you want. It is not that hard, you just ring them and tell them what vehicle you want to put it on.
If you want second hand, well then buyer beware, because unless you know how to measure offsets and PCD then you may end up buying some wheels that
sorta almost bolt on, but are not quite right. I would not buy second hand unless they were in VGC and I could see what vehicle they were on and how
they fit.
i have these... 14 inch alloys.
my rims were on a merc originally.
I think some BMW's share the same bolt pattern.
Some Passat's have 5x112 I heard somewhere, so you can run Factory 17" alloys on a Kombi.
here are some for ya they are all 5 X 112 PCD

excuse my lack of knowledge here but is that list a list of tyres i could "buy off the shelf" so to speak and they would fit straight onto say my 75 kombi without any speial work to be done?
That is a list of wheel rims that have 5 x 112 stud pattern That is 5 studs with a pitch circle diameter of 112mm. This still does not mean they bolt
straight on. You have to take in to account stud size and offset of the rim.
Offset means the amount the wheel prodrudes or sits in compared to the body of the vehicle.
To 'bolt' on you would need
same stud pattern (this is a list)
same stud hole diameter (can be drilled slightly bigger if needed)
same offset (there is a little bit of leeway here)
yeah i heard that for running 17x8" rims you need an off set of 35mm is this true?, also the stud hole and pattern have to be the same.
Try Customoffroad.com.au they sell wheel (16 inch) and tyre packages for Kombis for $1,100
