2lt bigger carb kit???

hey guys, im interested to know if you can buy a bigger carb kit to suit a 2lt kombi engine? what sort of price would i be looking at?? and where can i get it from if so??

There are oodles of options - your best bet is to give one of the VW shops on the forum a call and talk through what you expect from the new setup and how much you can afford to pay.

That or watch swap meets etc and see what's out there.
I'd avoid single carb setups though as you can get problems in cool weather with the long inlets.
If your handy find a good set of kadrons, webbers or del's and get some manifolds made. Twin throat carbs will probably give you better performance also.

Unfortunately, as with most things in life, you gets what you pay for! Be prepared for >$1000 for new twin dual throat webers. Nice, but pricey.

Stan Pobjoy does a Kadron conversion for the 2lt t4...........works very well.

yeah im sorta new to this (vw's) and i looked at that web site its bloody confusin as hell, theres about 100 different types, how do i go about getting the right one?
oh yeah its for my 74 2lt bus!
