Quick question - this is also posted in General Chit Chat, but here we go.

On a recent move, we bundled heaps of last minute crap into the cars. I found out last night that someone in the family put a bottle of 'Lambrusco' under the bonnet of the beetle...and of course, somewhere along the line the bottle opened and the entire contents washed through all the contents of the front of the bug.

What I am concerned in, is where could it have seeped? Is there anything under there that I should now be looking at removing, cleaning, etc? EG, around the petrol tank? Steering stuff in the cavity? Electrical all seems to be OK, car is driving the same...but any long term effects?

Long term effects? How about scirosis of the liver!

Wipe it out with a wet rag and dry.
