hey all. hoping to get some help. in the following pic. i want to know what the wires go to. i think two are for the alternator, but not sure. can any one help?...
also these wires were cut. i know they go tot he wiring lookm for the rear tail lights. but is there anyway to know what each is for? i know you cantt ell at a guess, its more to know how hte buck works? i hope someone understands what i mean. if i goabout guessing, is the worst i would do is blow fuses, till i get it right?

inthe middle of hte loom between the two tail lights, this wire pokes out. can anyone tell me what its for?
what car wes? you cant figure it out off of the colours off of a wiring diagram?

when im having trouble with lighting wires i pull out the test light, earth the clip, turn on the indicator, keep probing wires till i fnd the flashin live wire, then move to brakes (use a brick or a friend),tail lights, etc.
thanks guys. here is a ? for yas. if i was to fita bettery up and have none of the wires connected, is it possible to start checking and connecting with out shorting out?
