A LOT SMOOTHER RIDE!!!! YOU CAN ALSO ADJUST THE RIDE HEIGHT AS YOU ARE DRIVING, SO ITS ALSO ENJOYABLE WHEN YOU ARE FLICKING THE SWITHES!!!
I JUST PAID FOR MINE, SHOULD HAVE tHEM IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I WILL LET ALL OF YOU KNOW HOW "GOOD" THEY ARE!!!!

are you part of the aussie unity forums????? they say beetles are shit for airbags as they have no structul support(no crossmembers etc) and are easy to warp etc! so u wouldnt wont to be jumpin up and down but they would be kool to have!!! im thinking of showtime hydros for my kombi or bags done by burnincustom (hydros2-3grand bags 4-5 grand) bags are a smoother ride better handling then hydros but u cant jump/hop with bags unless u get a skitz compressor and tank and use nitrogen in the tank!!!

I would eventually like to work out an air suspension system for my kombi, but I won't be paying those kind of prices, ever. One day I'll cut up a Citroen just to see if it can donate some parts. :)

Why would anybody want their VW to jump up and down? It must do horrendous things to a vehicle's structural integrity. I wouldn't like to spend thousands on a car only to have it fall in half a couple years later. What's wrong with practicality?

hey
people have talked about the air bag between the beam and chassis idea but if u think about it ur sitting write where it would be pushing and plus you would be able to get it fully dumped to the chassis! the 4 grand airbagging system is said to last upwards of 20 years if maintained write!!! thats independent valves on each wheel! plus fully installed etc

The airbags might, its the car I'm worried about. I've seen photo's of cars 3 feet in the air, and still don't understand what for. :)

ITS FUN!!!!!!!! Im In unity, but as for bugs being shit for bags, that might be right, if you dont reinforce, but if done properly (along with any modification) it will be fine!!!!!! Ive said b4, that the car wont be usd very often, so a dance here, and a dance there, wont hurt it!!! If you really want to hurt a car, get hydros! Unless you get accumulators, your ride will be very stiff, and therefore jolting every part of the car! I love hydros, but its got to be done properly!!!! Secondly, who in Australia has airbagged a bug, to know whether or not it is good? If someone has I would like to find out how they have done it!!!!

Cheers N!

i agree with unity it so much FUN! and cant wait to bag the notch!i worked in canada for a year and had the chance to ride in both- car with bags and car with hydros w/accumulators, both a smooth ride and hours of fun, the bags were the better of the two but having the front end of a car jump 2 feet of the ground while rolling at about 40k,s nothin like it!
as for hopping with bags it is possible just need n2o and large ported bags, i personally witnessed a crx jump all 4 corners about 2 feet of the ground.
