..
YOU NEED TO ASK DAVE, HE'LL KNOW
It should have the Bosch or VW part number written on it...
it looks like an early model dizzy with the condenser inside the dizzy.... although it does look New....
I wonder whether the 009 Cap will fit....
Looks the same size.....

It's a Mallory distributor and takes a Mallory 225 cap.Should be able to get one at Repco or Autopro stores.
Yep
Mallory single point dizzy.
Also sold under the SCAT and a few other brands.
Nice thing is points for all Mallorys are usually the same and there are only 2 variations of the caps and rotors for 4,6 and 8 cyl dizzies.
There are plenty of electronic bits available for them as well.
Take your dizzy with you when you go so you get the correct type.
I remember seeing one of those with a modded ponts plate that used an allen key headed fine thread bolt to adjust the points. Dial up dwell with an
allen key!

hey thanks loads for the input fellas! i will pull it off soon and post more pics! thanks!:beer:beer:beer:kiss
As a matter of interest
I run the twin point version with mechanical advance (no Vac) only on my F-Vee.
It was given to me for nix!!!
The advance curves and amount of advance and soforth are easily adjustable.
