I am ready to do an oil and filter change to the 2L kombi but not sure what the correct fill level is. The dipstick is the VDO temp sender type and it looks like someone has put some file marks on the dipstick for the upper and lower levels. Not sure if I should trust these beacuse I realise how important the correct oil level is in an aircooled VW. Too much oil will blow seals and cause leaks and not enough well without going into detail it's not real good is it?
Can someone please post the factory oil capacity?
