SOMEBODY HELP ME. can some1 on the sunny coast have a look at my engine please....

my 1600 single port in my baja is running really badly. started it the other night and it was really hard to start but was ok once started and then last night went to drive to work and it was really hard to start and was running really out of sync (engine shaking really bad) exhausts chuffing wierdly. i got a lift to and from work and then this morning i checked and adjusted tappets and points and checked the spark plugs. the number 1 cylinder plug had alot of fuel on the thread the others were fine which would make me think #1 wasnt firing. all the gaps were set fine. after a tune tried to start it and its still the same. called an RACQ guy who was an idiot and didnt help me at all just wanted me to tow it to his garage and pay 150 bucks for them to tune it for me. even though i had explained to him it was tuned fine. but he was adamant to get it "professionally tuned" and then they could have another look at it. considering i have 20 bucks in my wallet i decided not to go for this offer. he also went on to tell me that after tuning it i could leave it for 10 000 kms without touching it etc. idiot.

anyway i really need to be able to drive this car to work. as its my only transport. can anyone on the sunshine coast have a look for me.

could it be a loose head? it really sounds expensive and i dont have any money:mad:

the car is located in shelly beach caloundra.

fixed the problem!!! some little F##ker switched my #1 and #3 leads around on the dissy!!!! must have done it yesterday or the night before. god damn so simple hadnt even thought about it till i had a look at the dissy cap and realised the #1 lead wasnt aligning with the mark on the dissy!! so god damn angry i wish i caught the little F##cker. grrrr!!! one problem with having an engine that sticks out the arse end of your car.
