ok, can anyone esplain to me how the indicators on a bay kombi work? spent hours trying to get mine to function a while ago, then a couple of nights ago had an auto-electrician mate around to help, another 2+ hours wasted and still no solution. i know that all wires are connected where they should be. all connections are good. emergency flasher can is new. if i drag pawer from the fuse box directly to the metal connections inside the lever i can get light from the blinkers, but beside that nothing. no clicking, no sparks, no light of any sort, desperate to get them working but cant figure out fault, afraid it will cost me alot of $$$ for a pro as they may have as much trouble as me finding it. anyone have ANY ideas why i dont have blinkers?
here is a pic of the wirering diagram if the pic is to small go to vintage bus . com and they have all wirering diagrams in a big size
how is the earth of the indicator

thanks. i will have a closer look at it but i already have original ones, which is how i know the wiring is correct at the moment, even compared it to another bus and it is correct, this is why i am so confused, as nothing seems wrong (except that they dont work!)

Have you got a voltage meter?
If so try tracing the power right throughout the circuit it follows. From the fuse to the switch and to the lights..... you should find the
fault.
Make sure you follow the correct wires by checking the colour codes in the wiring diagrams.
Make sure the relay is working.
Good luck
