any tips to making them fit easily?
Once in there, I cant get them to lengthen to seal...any tips?
anyone?
Only use them to replace a broken tube in a running engine, dont use them on a new rebuild. They leak
Also dont over tighten them as they will and do leak.
Use new tubes on a rebuild...
not a rebuild, thanks dave
They should have a bit of flex and you can bend them one way then the other. That makes them longer and seal better.
IF you are going to use them - use the screw ones not the spring loaded type
The one im using has a circlip, Its way too tight to adjust once its in place, easy out of the car but not in...
I got the spring ones fitted in about november
now they're leaking :cussing
It only has to last a 1000ks til new motor...
