I am looking for new seat covers for my new bug (1970 )no head rest but i cant find any. Any ideaswhere to find some?

I don't have a sewing machine I wish i did but artistic skills and me don't mix i need HELPPPPP

i used to have a cheap set from super cheap auto, with a hole for the headrest and a seperate cover for the headrest. i just sewed (rather shitty job) the hole up and it looked kinda ok.......thats always an option if you get desperate.

got mine made at Classic Car Seatcovers at ingleburn in Sydney but expensive $95 a set hats just the front ones

plus they have seperate top and bottom for the seat top moving forwards for rear seat entry

never really thought of that i guess it could work thanks am trying my best to love a bug that is a colour i don't like. bit sad but its a great car shouldn't be so cruel

$95...man i paid $900 for the wool covers on the bench's in the ej. dam nice though!

if you go lambswool, make sure they are using large pieces of hyde. some places sell cheaper wool covers that are made up of lots of little pieces sewn together. every seem is prone to shedding the lush fur you want to keep in the seats.
also be aware of wich colours will fade if you dont have tinted windows:cool:
