I am looking for new seat covers for my new bug (1970 )no head rest but i cant find any. Any ideaswhere to find some?
if your feeling handy on the sewing machine you could try your hand at making your own
I don't have a sewing machine I wish i did but artistic skills and me don't mix i need HELPPPPP
i used to have a cheap set from super cheap auto, with a hole for the headrest and a seperate cover for the headrest. i just sewed (rather shitty job) the hole up and it looked kinda ok.......thats always an option if you get desperate.
got mine made at Classic Car Seatcovers at ingleburn in Sydney but expensive $95 a set hats just the front ones

plus they have seperate top and bottom for the seat top moving forwards for rear seat entry
never really thought of that i guess it could work thanks am trying my best to love a bug that is a colour i don't like. bit sad but its a great car shouldn't be so cruel

got wool in my 4wd and yes they are lovely
mmmmmmmm....fluffy:bounce
sounds like fluffy is the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you go lambswool, make sure they are using large pieces of hyde. some places sell cheaper wool covers that are made up of lots of little pieces
sewn together. every seem is prone to shedding the lush fur you want to keep in the seats.
also be aware of wich colours will fade if you dont have tinted windows
thanks for that do you hve any names that may be of use
V.I.P. car seat covers in melbourne is where i got mine, if i had the cash id go there again
I'm in Brisbane
just look up your yellow pages, and start asking questions on price and quality and size of fur
i got mine from the miners hut in tweed heads ,but then again i used to live next door to the owners
