Looks the same as a Type 3 front bonnet latch plate as well....

and with that part number its off a 411 or 412 front bonnet.

dont think Things had that part number it would have started with 181 or similar, n dont know why it would be in Aussie... if its for a Thing.

Its different to the type 3 as i checked with mine, i bought it in a job lot of VW parts and it was in there, its NOS, thats why i thought it would fit a country bug, mmm strange
