hi guys. i'm looking at buying an auto '76 kombi camper 2lt. appears in quite good condition. owner says the transmission was replaced recently but does leak. he says that the seals or something need tightening. does this sound right? could it actually be on its way out? i asked to see his receipt to show it was recently put in, and he told me his regular mechanic has just moved to qld and didn't give him a receipt because he paid cash for the job - always has. the guys seems honest enough and his explanation seems reasonable - cash deals aren't uncommon. any ideas? if it is on the way out, are they expensive to replace?
