Looks like it might be up side down did u try iyt the pther way around ??
may even be the rubber for the other side
thanks guys but it cant be either of those 2 things cause the rubber is shaped in a definie 90o angle to go around the bottom of the door and it cant
be the one for the other side because then the rubbers wouldnt slot into the groove (it would be back to front/upsidedown..)
a photo would really help...
It looks like you have a driver's side seal on the passenger's side. The part with the hole in it *definitely* goes on the other side of the door.
You need to disconnect the arm that stops the door swinging about. The hole in the rubber in your picture fits over the hole the arm goes into.
I hope you haven't got a crappy seal like I got. I have spent days cutting bits of rubber of it to try and get it to fit and it still won't go. I
have a feeling that this is exacerbated by the door being too close down the bottom but I can't get the screws undone to adjust it. :duh

Who did you buy the rubber off ???
Is it German, Tawainese or Brazilian
Give the company a call and see what after sales service there is !!!
The hole goes around the strap that stops the door from opening too far. The strap is between the hinges on the other side of the door
Thanks everybody
Roy (bought them off him) emailed me and said the same as everyone else - it all makes sense now and in hinesight it all seems so obvious!!
derrr fred!
thanks again everyone! :kiss

thanks again Roy
quality of the rubbers is perfect - its the quality of the "fitter" (me) that was the issue here!
