BLUE_62 - May 21st, 2005 at 07:45 PM

hey all,

tried to search this topic but no luck. Here goes,
I want to fit some alloy wheels off a toyota.
they are 15 x 6 front 15 x 7 rear..
They are obvisoly 5 stud but how do i go about
changing the drum brake stud pattern to suit?
Will i need to fit disc brakes to my beetle to make
this work?
Or do i give up and fit some 356 replicas?
any help gratefully apreciated. :)

it's a 66 right? so you would have drums all round. At the basic level you have to get a whole new set of blank drums front and rear and have them drilled for the appropriate stud pattern. Easy. You could use adapters, but they are illegal in NSW. Don't know about vic.

ok, so what are blank drums worth?
Are they available?
And is drilling expensive?
