I threaded a new tube through mine; in through teh fuel ine hole up front and out through the gearshift rod hole at the other end.

Fuel line in my SWB has been run beside the tunnel in the car (drivers side), the guy obviously decided it was too hard to go through the tunnel.

use 8mm od tube if you are replacing
and it is best to start from the front and try to feed it under every thing in the tunnel
then when it is at the rear you can put a little bend in it and feed it through the hole in the fork by holding it at the gear shift hole
then cut it to lenth and bend the front end pull through a little further and push it through the front hole

not real hard at all when you have done one

best to get down with a bright light and look up the tunnel so you can visualize what you doing first

good luck
