Or this little dolly that will allow your engine to be wheeled out, and is just the right height to get your jack under when putting it back in!

They are only US$38 but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to knock one up yourself with a welder!

yeah the starter one is good,

although i made an engine dolly out of wood and castors... much cheaper

I've always taken the engine right down to the ground - thanks for the idea,
have to set up engine dolly.
