Have any forum-followers ever tried fitting a new canvas to the poptop ? Mine is pretty shagged, and I see that ClassicVW Pacific is selling replacements at a reasonable price, but I'm just a bit worried that the fitting might be a bit tricky. Any ideas ? Does anyone know where there's anything in print (or website) about how it's done ?
