Hi all, Just after some advice regarding my 76 Kombi and her lovely automatic transmission. The torque converter seems to be slipping?? Hmmm.........there is enough auto fluid in it.......so what do you think? Should we take her to an auto specialist or a VW mechanic, we are on the northside of brissie, any advice would be GREAT

oh and BTW we are coming to the German day at Hawthorne tomorrow, obviously not in my Kombi, but if anyone wants to chat then i would appreciate it

It could be the bands may need adjusting. Give german Auto's a call on Monday.
