Its not that area thats different its where the badge sits that varies
GO EASY ON TEH CAPS LOCK and make sure you don't post the same thing 3

The '54 bonnet is one year only, and has a triangular bit underneath the circular badge at the base of the windscreen. The 55-62 are the same I
think, there are slits at the front near the handle for the wolfsburg crest badge. 63-67 has no slits, and the circular badge is raised on a plinth.
68 and later has vents for the fresh air inlet.
There is a difference in the gusseting on the underside of the 50's bonnets where the struts/hinge's bolt to it. I have a pre 56 bonnet, and it is
different to the one on my 56. The bage section is the same ( flush fit with four slots for the tabs) and two slots for the tabs of the wolfsberg
badge at the bottom of the centre trim strip. I can take some pictures if you want.
