Fuel injection for a bug 1916cc engine?

Hello gurus
I have a trike with a 70's bug engine bored out to 1916cc. It's too slow and I thought that EFI would be the way to go. Can this be done? If so, who should I contact? (I'm in Melbourne but can travel) and what kind of cost are we talking about?

you're gonna need wheelie bars...

VWCOOL - Can't remember what carbs they are but the size up from them was going to be 44inchers. They are bigger than the standard twin carbs but smaller than 44s.

So you have dual carbs on there now??

May be Weber IDF 40's

(btw - its mm of the opening not inches)

There were a few trikes made a few years ago with standard cams but big-bores (1916cc). These engines didn't perforem very well... My engine builder has re-cammed several, allowing the engine to breathe properly and develop a bit more power. A properly-built and cammed twin-carb 1916 in a trike will be SCARY faST.
