Hi guys,
Yesterday, quite suddenly, my gearbox refused to go into any gear at all, so I adjusted the clutch this morning.
All is well, although the pressure point is now right near the top of the pedal's travel, and seems 'tight' - if this is too tight, is it a bad
thing? Will it wear the clutch bearings or something like that? How can I check that it's ok?
Thanks!
Benno
Have a read of a few of these topics

Should be 20mm-ish of free play
Remember that we can't adjust the clutch, only the length of the cable between the pedal and clutch fork lever. If you have got that bit more "free
play" all of a sudden, you had better look at "replacing a clutch cable" in your manual. It is stretching due to a few strands breaking and you
soon may have to learn a new method of changing gears WITHOUT a clutch if it completely breaks without much warning! There are other causes of
increased free play but check this first.
