Anybody know the quickest and cheapest method of lowering the seat height on a bay kombi.

Let air out of the front tyres.
There aren't too many other options, as the Kombi seats are quite thin to start with; I haven't seen any similar but thinner-base seats around. You
must be pretty tall if you're having head-room problems.

I found the SAAS seats we put in our bus to sit nice and low. The only disadvantage is that they no longer slide adjust. No prob for me and the wife, but if anyone else were to drive they would not be able to slide it forward.
well Im 6'2 and i have a pair of 70's subaru buckets in mine on the original rails, making them slightly higher then stock, my solution to stop
hitting the lining? lean back and relax
yeah well these are my buckets, they are totally slide adjustable and reclinable, they are really comfy and hug your booty, they sit very low compared
to a standard kombi seat.hope that helps ya
cheers
i'm about to put some new seats in my Kombi, was looking at some from an mx5. What are ur seats from? and approx how much did they cost u?
yeah mine are mx5 seats from a late model, i got em fairly cheap from a jap wrecker for $180, and then $20 for the 8mm brackets n bolts, not the
easyiest job really, was a little trickey but well worth it, by the way i am not using the original rails or brackets, i took em all off the bus.
cheers
