any chance the front upper balljoints on a t3 can be tightened? if not what would i be looking at for a full replacement of both upper b/js and
possibly the lowers as well? had checked the front end off the ground for bearings etc and everything seemed great, but on the ground the baljoints
are horrendous, look like they are going to shake right off the car when i push and pull the wheel, even the torsionbar end seems to be moving a
little which has me very worried.

You will have to replace them.
Make sure the replacements you get are the off set type that allows you to still set the wheel camber. I think its only the top ones that need to be
off set.
Non servicable, which means non repairable.
If they are pressed in as hard as a kombi, then it would be off to the workshop. Ring some places and see what they charge?
Type 3 ball joints just bolt up, no pressing needed.
You still need to crack the morse taper with a hammer or ball joint tool.
