Talk Torque. - March 22nd, 2003 at 02:57 PM

Hi to all
I just sold a mint set of Fuchs 15x6 wheels i was going to put on my Superbug as it was going to be too much mucking around .Can anyone suggest a 5.5x15 set of wheels i could use apart from Fuchs;BRM or Mangel 356 copies.I had a set of Mangel 356 copies on my last Superbug i just sold but i found the chrome was poor and i was continually polishing them.Fuchs and BRM"s are too pricey for me at the moment.I need something affordable.

Come on BRAIN"S TRUST throw me some ideas.

Thanks
PAUL

Hi Paul

You sold the best wheels for your car, there is some 15x6 Cookie cutters on the NSW Porsche club site for $100.

Welcome along. Are you still working for Ostrich motors?

try look for cheap porsche wheels like steve said, the genuine items are light strong and have the proper offsets for our cars. Cookie cutters aren't common and are cheap, C2's, design 90's, gas burners, teledials etc. They're all not so common porsche wheels and they usually pop up every now and then and are pretty cheap.

Ur lucky to have a super, the strut front end is great, and u can run wide tyres.

I want fuchs myself but in the 16" size, they're too damn expensive though so i am saving up :)

What about empi 8 spokes?

They bolt straight on and have a decent offset.

I am biases but a set of Design 90's or C'2 would fit great on a GL super but you still have the 5 bolt problem
