Two questions

firstly I am needing a new set of wheel nuts to suit the Hotwire mags I have.see picture

I need 20 in total. The cheapest place I have found thus far want $9.50 per nut.

Any suggestions?????

And secondly., my gearbox has been leaking oil, how to I check the level and how do top it up? (Leak will be fixed)

I gather we are talking about a Kombi. Basically, there is a plug on the pass side of the gearbox you need to undo to fill it. You'll need a 17mm(from memory?) Allen head socket to undo it. Then you just fill it up til it starts to overflow a bit. May be worth draining what's left of the oil before you top it up too. Also, nulon make a gearbox treatment (in a tube) that is quite good, about $15 bucks and the gearbox is noticably quieter and smoother, this was even the case for the very worn gearbox in my brothers old bay window.

Hi

Theres a company called Tefba located around Silverdale in western Sydney, he makes wheel nuts. Ive also seen stock Kombi nuts have the step machined into them to fit Hotwires.

I have a bucket full in my garage of the wheel nuts specially for the hotwires, have the same rims in my backyard somewhere too. I priced around for wheel nuts once, same deal as you $10each. u2u me an offer for mine, i cant see myself using them again unless someone wants to buy my rims and wheel nuts??
