I have a deluxe wheel to fit to the twin cab as I have a 73 model also need to replace the steering column shaft. So I have these questions.
When I replace the shaft are there any aother bits I should replace while I am there?
Can I remove the steering assembly from above with the shaft or do i need to take the steering box out and take the shaft out from below?
And i had a go at removing the wheel it is on hard I loosened the nut and used a copper hammer to whack the shaft/ nut top whilst pushing with both knees up on the wheel, mate it is stuck any clues/ I tried to get a puller on but have not found one to fit yet so I squirted with rost off for next attempt.
