1200 motor on 1500 swinger?

howdy
after finding out my motor is a 1200 and not a 1300 as i was led to beleive by seller( checked the motor has rebuilt original motor) im after a little more top end speed
someone sugested 1500 gearbox?

i know nose cone has to be swapped to earlyer and axles swapped to shorter byt what else ?
i am also going 12volt

in the middle of resto
the motor is in real good nick

wont u lose quite a bit of bottom end power by using the 1500 box?

i've done it and it's not fun. You lose all torque (what little there is) and accelleration, but your top speed does increase. I was able to do 130 easy but any sort of a hill or incline would drop me back to 90 or 80.
