Hey I was milling over replacing the fixed seat belts in the 65 bug but wasn't sure how the retractable unit would look as the hole for the seat belt that is currently there is through the floor pan just behind the front seat.

Can someone tell me where they have the retractable belts mounted in their bugs? Maybe a picture would be cool.

I've got retractables on my '68. I'll try to get a pic in the daylight.

Well if this works there should be 2 pics of the seatbelt mounts.

I had another look today and that's about the only place they can be mounted.

Now just have to wait until classicveedub opens up on the 4th Jan.
