abelg - December 27th, 2005 at 01:58 AM

i have a beach buggy i use as an everyday driver.. ive never seen another buggy like it.. and ill try post a pic of it.. its mounted on a 1967 type 3 chasiss and has a twin port 1600 engine and gearbox..

when i first bought the car (about a month ago) it had shudder problems when taking off.. and soon enough would not stay in any gear.. i.e. in first gear it would take off slowly and all of a sudden flick out of gear, but when i try puting it bak into gear it would not go in.. unless i rolled the car a little.. then tryed again..

a couple of days ago i replaced the clutch and stuck the engine back on. i put the car into gear and push it from behind to see if engine was engaging which it did.. untill we pushed it down the road and nothing... it wouldnt go in gear..

please help.. i have a feeling the box has shat it self.. and was wondering if anyone else thinks otherwise.. if this is the case though which other gearboxes can i use to replace my current one??.. while keeping the same engine... all options are concidered... please help me... i will try posting a pic of the buggy

I don't know how to do them as attachments...
But put the url between and it should work... otherwise email it to me and I'll put it up for you,...

If you want to attach them from your computer they need to be under 50kB. Use a program like Irfanview to resize them. Its free to download off the net.
