ok.. am wondering how accurate the balancing of a wheel and tyre is from the machine they use at the tyre places?
i get the feeling that it is only accurate to 10 grams.
Next question is whether you would feel it if your balance was out by 10 grams on one wheel?

Bob Jane does 3 levels of balancing . 2 r called Probal (German system ProffessionalBalancing) @ about $9 per wheel they clean around the hub and inner wheel
and balance with a special adaptor plate for ur brand of vehicle. thus the standard universal coneshape tools marginal error of maybe more than 10 grams eliminated.
RESULT: less vibrations smoother ride all round longer tyre wear ..even fuel savings. I am happy with it as first time user.
there is silvr and gold level.

balancing is also bearing adjustment and tie rod joint quality question as well as secureness of front end .

Alignment of rear (esp irs) as well as the front wheels

thanks... i may have to enquire with bob jane.
i assume the front end would be ok as it is a 2 year old car and have had no probs before.

tyres can have faults

only one tyre may cause the probs.
