ahhhhhh bugger, my story is that i am about a bee's dick away to raod worthy with my bay kombi its taken my almost 2 years now, and as i was trying
my electrics the wipers wiped and worked just fine mmmm 2 speed kombi wipers yeah!! and they were working fine. 10mins after i tried them again and
absolutely f#$king nothing they didnt move at all!!!there was absolutely no noise or burining smell so it cant really be the motor i hope??, but yeah
they just stoped working, now ive checked as much as i can (fuse, re-oiled the shafts so they are definately not jamed) and tested the circuit which
goes to the lever),
i am bloody hoping its not my wiper motor,
but is there any one who can help me fix the problem and get these fockers wiping for my road worthy???
any advice/tips??? at all much appreciated!!
any way i really need to get em working!!!
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!
cheers jurion

looks like i need a new wiper motor like this one in the pic, any one got one??? need it asap!!!!
If you have a multimeter, hold the black to a bolt or something on the chassis and the other on the 12v wire then get a helper to turn on the windscreen wipers. If you get a reading then its ya motor and the circuit is fine if you dont then most likely bumped a wire off sumwhere. If you dont know which is the 12v wire (im pretty sure you will have a little clip with all the wires that clips to the motor) just fish through them and look for a 12v reading (with wiper switch on) if none have 12v its the system etc etc..
yeah sweet as, i am going to test it just to make sure it is the motor
cheers
np, good luck with it.
wooohooooo today i got my wiper motor tested and turns out it actually works, it wasnt the motor it was the plug which plugs into the paddles,
although i was positive that it was on, well yes it was on but the brass tongues were not lined up properly so i have gone to alot of trouble to just
come to this conclusion. but its great cause now i have wipers woooohooooooo!!!!
yeah i just wanted to thank those that helped me in the right direction esp (type1, lobus, jnr356 and karmen) thanks guys for helping me find a motor,
at least now when the motor does actually kark it i will know who to ask! oh yeah i also wanted to apologise to jnr356 and lobus for going to all that
trouble of gettingme a motor, i was about to pick the motor up from jnr356 but got my orginal one tested first and well guess what it worked so i no
longer need the spare one which lobus gave to jnr356 for me. thanks heaps David and mark for you help and assistance

thought that might be ya prob, motors dont usually die without some indicators.
