my headlights are old and rusty and in need of such serious work that im thinking it would be much easier to replace them. so my question is about sealed beam style (US spec?) headlights for a 64. are they easily available (and the replacement lights of course) or would it not be worth the while. its just im trying to make my herbie a bit more accurate and since im replacing them anyway, plus its something you dont see that often really so i thought itd be cool. anyone know much about this?

ive got the later h4 upgrades and they are great you can see at night but im not sure if they work with 6 volt systems

righto, cool, so i spose my next question is... where can i find them? would Vintage Vee Dub or something like them have them? im in canberra but could a vw mech find them easily through suppliers in sydney?
