I am stripping the red bug down for a total respray..
While I'm at it, I thought I'd upgrade the windscreen wipers.. Currently the car is 12 V.. It has some kind of screwy resistor on the bulkhead that
moderates the wiper motor.. One of the wiper arms has come off the spindle so I'm without anything at the moment..
What is the best way to upgrade the wipers to something a little more efficient.. the little 67 arms are pathetic.. Will a later assembly (say off a
1500) work?
I'm tempted to remove all the wiring and redo the whole car..
All the 12V conversions i have seen is to put a heavy resistor in line with the motor.
I have also seen an adjustable resistor (rheostat??) in line off early "adjustable wiper" switches.
Dont believe any of the motors off later fit
Thanks.. I'll research more when I get some time..

G'day,
'68 1500 model 12v wiper motor is a direct replacement for the 6v motor. '69 up are different, so see if you can find a '68.
Cheers, Ian.
Thanks Ian
