Anthiron - March 9th, 2006 at 03:39 PM

i cant seem to work out how the second mount attaches on my new pulley cover? is this just cheap and nasty (even tho i paid 40 bucks) or am i just blind?

the genny stand mount. its not exactly flush but it bolts up with a bit of effort

this pic shows the mounting holes for the second bracket

and holding the mount flush with the holes one way.

and holding it this way flush with the holes it fouls on the fuel pump

Howdy
here are some pictures of the mounts on my BAJA.

Both brackets mount on the inside of the cover, they fit much easier.
Hope this helps.

i was fortunate in that the pully cover i got 2nd hand & cheap was missing its mount strips. this meant i got to make my own so it fits proper like. used the mounts as per midlife as well as the genny strap.

having said all that i no longer use it as the rear ally "glide plate" hides the motor well enough.

thanks marc ill have another look another day i got pissed off with it and put everything back together and packed it up.

i think id have to redrill holes to get mine to mount like yours and bend the mount.
