1600 twin port seized up

my bugs been sitting for many years and possible that water has gotten in i can turn it by hand only about 2-3 inchs. does anyone have any suggestions? should i take the heads off? let me know if you got any idea,s ta

squirt some oil in the spark plug holes nand let sit for a while??

probabally best to pull the motor and pop the heads

Yer that does sound like it has rusted the bores on the open cylinders!

It depends on how much you like the engine! if you like it, pull the barrels and fix it right

Iif you hate it, crank the bastard over with the pulgs out untill she winds over, plugs back in and hope for the best! LOL

you could try over filling it with oil.....as in put like 3.5 litres in it and let it sit for a while. then everyday go out and try turning it over. even if u cant get it to go all the way just keep rocking it....do this for a few days/weeks and see if it will turn over for you after a while. squirt some down the plug holes too.

ive done this. it works
