What is the best lube to use for seat sliders?
My driver's seat was almost impossible to move, the sliders were gummed up with sticky old greasy stuff. I've cleaned it off as much as possible
and the seat slides a bit better now, but still not easily enough.

grease
If they are the metal runner sliding on the plastic cover, use silicone spray or rubber grease.
dry lube stick, no mess and easy to apply, lasts for ages..
If the seats are really hard to slide, can lube the slides with oil rather than grease, if you can get it in there. Easy if seats are out...

Bit of VASSO lol
Dry lube...............
What do you think vw54?
Dry lube stick.
Rob...
grease holds all the shit on it and clogs it up.
CRC to loosen, remove, clean very well, drylube stick, assemble and now adjust your seat
Vacuum all the crap out while the seats are out.
Makes a huge difference.
grease 4Fs
Yes the plastic runners came in much later in the Supers..
Dri lube is the best - and it doesn't soil your clothes...
Vasoline is OK .. but it runs everywhere when it gets hot..... Maybe OK in the winter.... lol
Lee
dry lube stick grease catches all the shit and can stain clothes if they accidently get caught down there
