If the Beetle needed no rust or panel repairs, I would say in the aproximate region of between $2000-$3000 with your main variables being the quality of paint and type of paint ranging from plain white to metallic or pearl.

That cost would not include any dismantling or reassembly or new rubbers etc.

i had a quote about 12 months ago for a respray... i was going to deliver the car completely dismantled.. no interior no glass panels off etc.. quoted $3000 for metallic paint
dont know what it would be now tho.
