how reiable would this turbo setup b?

this looks pretty cool and minimal pipe work wat do you tech freaks think?

Very simple old-school setup... would go nice in a straight line at WOT, but very long pipe lengths (intake and exhaust) would mean extra-laggy and would be a be-aitch to drive on the street

But being simple, lo-tech and non-intercooled would mean static comp could be close to standard; so no big boost and therefore not many problems with reliability

So glenn u recon if someone wanted a budget turbo this is a good option and would it give you some grunt say 30 more power????

i doubt you'd get away without a muffler in NSW. also a single SU would probably be better and simpler if you want to go that way. check out the turbo power calculator at: http://www.turbofast.com.au/javacalc.html  for a rough idea.

There's no such thing as a budget turbo... I can see a couple of grands' worth of hardware there, and that's before you've built the donk and paid to have it tuned.
