The clutch on our Subaru EJ22 bus is a Sach's. Seems ok for now, plenty of drag racing.

Hi Nick which engine?

How many hp?

Im going to the US and want to bring one in I have been offered a Sachs Clutch + presure plate for $70 US or Kennedey for $90.

What should i go for?

Which Sachs should i go for anyone got a part number?

i like the sach because of the springs that help take up the tension to stop shudders on take off. but ive never used the kennedy only the sach so i cant coment on them. try giving my old man a call during working hours costa on 02 65523190. he can help you out with some info im sure

Sachs is a very good road clutch and the pressure plate runs at about 1450lb
Which is not all that shabby, and would be good for 150hp or a little more if you were nice to it. But if you want to race the car you would be better off with a puck clutch. They normally come in 3 type 6,4,3 puck configurations the 6 puck is the more driveable and the 3 will have the less slip. If you plane on using a puck clutch then go with the Kennedy clutch and pressure plate. Kennedy pressure plates come in stages and you would need to talk to someone how knows what you need in terms of what you want. Remembering that Kennedy pressure plate start at 1750lb in 200mm. We sell, race and drive on them both, so if you want an unbiased opinion give us a call

I had a Sachs on a 2110 in my super. 90-95hp at the wheels. Never slipped and was real driveable.
