As some of you know i blew a plug (#3) the other day and the problem was fixed with a "time sert" - (i even know the difference to a heli coil now too!)

Before then, every know and then i would get the old puff of oil smoke at start up. Nothing to worry about, just every 3rd day say.... at least once a week.

Well it has been going on 3 weeks since my episode and not a puff?

could be that the cold weather started about the same time, so less oil down the pot? - I use the same oil as you do & the past few weeks the exhaust has produced only a small puff instead of a large cloud

yeah good comment about the weather change wasnt thinking but it probally makes sense....

or maybe Barry doesnt have enough oil in the engine too make it burn..
