No biggie -

my central locking to the sliding door aint working.

Am betting it is to do with the 4 prongs and power transfer?

Just wondering what everyone else does besides use the key?? Just looking for some quick fix / past experience??

If it is sliding door only, then most likely 4 prongs & contacts dirty, cleaning them usually does the trick (don't use lubricant on contact surfaces). Also check for badly fitting door. Good luck.

Door shuts perfectly - so i will start looking at contacts

also take off the inner pannel and make sure that the wireing is still connected mine over the years worked apart slitely and would work than stop etc
