hi y'all. Heres the deal when i gear down in my type 3, 2nd gear and 1st gear are super crunchy and ive got to fight my way through it. What i want to know is a) why does it do this b) what would it cost to repair it and c) is there a temporary solution to this problem? Please help as im sick of crunching the hell out of the gears

Have you got a quickshifter installed, you know those small empi ones you can get? If so maybe it needs re-alignment. Might not be on properly. Or you need a rebuild
